Artist Ryo Shinagawa has published his first art book. It brings together his work from the beginning of his career to the present, and is a comprehensive book that expresses his journey as an artist. This book does not include any commentary, but focuses only on the artwork, so that readers can experience the artwork itself through the medium of a book. In addition, a piece of washi paper, cut to the same size as the gold leaf Shinagawa frequently uses in his work, has been incorporated into the book. All pages are in full color, and Shinagawa himself supervised the materials used in the details.

In keeping with the unique direction of Shinagawa’s artistic activities, this first art book will be published by “SHINAGAWA STUDIO,” which Shinagawa presides over, without going through a publishing company, and will be limited to 100 copies for sale. The book went on sale at the 2025 open studio event.
